माईर्स एमआयटी वर्ल्ड पीस युनिव्हर्सिटी आणि एमआयटी आर्ट, डिझाईन व टेक्नॉलॉजी विद्यापीठ राजबाग, पुणे यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने आयोजित जगातील सर्वात मोठा तत्वज्ञ संत श्री ज्ञानेश्‍वर-तुकाराम विश्‍वशांती घुमटात आठव्या जागतिक धर्म परिषदेच्या समारोप प्रसंगी प्रमुख पाहुणे म्हणून ते बोलत होते.

याप्रसंगी डॉ. संजय उपाध्ये यांना श्रीमद् भगवतगीता भाष्यकार पुरस्काराने सन्मानित करण्यात आले.
डॉ. अरिफ महंमद खान म्हणाले, ग्रंथ आपल्याला भूतकाळा विषयी सांगतात. भारत देश  ज्ञानाचे दालन म्हणून ओळखला जात होता. हा देश आज ही माता सरस्वतीच्या तत्वावर सुरू आहे. शिक्षण हे बदल घडविण्याचे साधन आहे. शिक्षणा शिवाय कोणत्याही प्रकारचे यश मिळत नाही. जगातील कोणताही देश भारताला विश्‍वगुरू बनविण्यापासून थांबवू शकत नाही.  प्रत्येकात क्षमता असते. त्यामुळे विद्यार्थ्यांनी ज्ञानाची साधना करावी. जीवनाच्या शेवटच्या क्षणापर्यंत शिक्षणाची प्रक्रिया सतत सुरू ठेवावी.
डॉ. विजय भटकर म्हणाले, ही धर्म परिषद विज्ञान, धर्म आणि तत्वज्ञानावर आधारित आहे. यात मानव कल्याण, विश्‍वशांती, सर्व धर्मांचा आदर आणि समानतेचा विचार मांडण्यात आला. भविष्यात भारत सुपर पॉवर म्हणून उदयास येईल. या धर्म परिषदेच्या माध्यमातून जगाला शांततेचा संदेश देण्यात आला.
राहुल सोलापूरकर म्हणाले, विज्ञान आणि अध्यात्माने क्रांती निर्माण होईल. पाश्‍चिमात्य देशाचा विज्ञान आणि भारताचे अध्यात्म यांचा समन्वय झाल्यास भारत विश्‍वगुरू बनेल. युवकांनी भारतीय संस्कृती आणि अध्यात्म शास्त्राला अभ्यासात महत्व दिल्यास भारताची जगाचे नेतृत्व करण्याची क्षमता वाढेल.
डॉ. विश्‍वनाथ कराड म्हणाले, मानव कल्याणासाठी सर्वांनी एकत्र यावे. राष्ट्र सेवेसाठी युवकांनी पुढाकार घ्यावा. सर्व धर्मांचे नेते येथे एकत्र येऊन विश्‍वाच्या शांतीसाठी आपले योगदान देत आहेत. रशिया आणि युक्रेन यांच्या युद्धाने जगाला काळजीत टाकले आहे, त्यामुळे विश्‍वशांती साठी पुढाकार घ्यावा. आध्यात्मिकशास्त्र आणि वैज्ञानिक प्रयोगशाळा जगाला अर्पण केली आहे.
डॉ. प्रियंकर उपाध्ये म्हणाले, जगातील सर्वच विद्यापीठातून रोजगार देण्याच्या कार्याबरोबरच मूल्याधिष्ठित शिक्षण दिले जावे, यामुळे सर्वोतम व्यक्तित्व घडेल. धर्मा-धर्मातील शांतता आवश्यक आहे. सर्व धर्मांमध्ये सुसंवाद व्हावे. शांतता हा जगण्याचा मार्ग आहे. शांतता नसेल तर मानव जातीला धोका आहे.
राहुल विश्‍वनाथ कराड म्हणाले, राजकारणाच्या शिक्षणाबरोबरच आध्यात्मिकरण या विषयावर नवे पाठ्यक्रम सुरू केले जाईल. ज्यामुळे विद्यार्थ्यांना जीवन दर्शन घडेल. त्यासाठी वर्ल्ड पीस सिलॅबसची निर्मिती होत आहे. आज या घुमटातून संपूर्ण जगात शांतीचा नारा पोहचेल.
