‘ख्रिस्ती कॉन्व्हेंट की धर्मांतराची केंद्रे ?’ या विषयावर ऑनलाईन विशेष संवाद !

 

पुणे:  कॉन्व्हेंट शाळांमधून ख्रिस्ती पंथाचे शिक्षण देणे, विविध माध्यमातून धर्मांतर करणे हे पूर्वीपासूनच होत आहे. स्वातंत्र्यपूर्व काळापासून कॉन्व्हेंट शाळांमधून नेमके काय शिकवले जाते ?, देशाच्या संविधानाचे पालन करून तिथे शिक्षण दिले जाते का ?, याची तपासणी आतापर्यंत कोणत्याच सरकारने केली नाही. कॉन्व्हेंट शाळांचे आर्थिक स्त्रोत काय आहेत ? किमान सध्याच्या केंद्र सरकारने तरी धर्मांतराची केंद्रे असणार्‍या कॉन्व्हेंट शाळांची तपासणी करायला हवी, अशी मागणी भारतीय सेनेचे सेवानिवृत्त अधिकारी कर्नल राजेंद्र शुक्ला यांनी केली. हिंदु जनजागृती समितीच्या वतीने आयोजित ‘ख्रिस्ती कॉन्व्हेंट की धर्मांतराची केंद्रे ?’ या ऑनलाइन विशेष संवादात ते बोलत होते.

तेलंगणा येथील ‘ख्रिश्‍चन स्टडीज’च्या अध्ययनकर्त्या इस्टर धनराज म्हणाल्या की, भारतात आलेल्या ईस्ट इंडिया कंपनीच्या काळापासून ते आतापर्यंत ख्रिस्ती मिशनर्‍यांनी स्थापन केलेल्या कॉन्व्हेंट शाळांमध्ये हिंदु विद्यार्थ्यांचे धर्मांतर करणे, हे एकच लक्ष्य राहिले आहे. हिंदु विद्यार्थ्यांचे धर्मांतर करून ख्रिस्ती लोकसंख्या वाढवणे, हिंदूंना अल्पसंख्याक करणे, अशी केरळसारखी देशाची स्थिती करण्याचा प्रयत्न हे करत आहेत. दिल्ली येथील लेखिका डॉ. रिंकू वढेरा म्हणाल्या की, भारताच्या स्वातंत्र्यपूर्व काळापासून ख्रिस्ती मिशनर्‍यांनी हिंदु परंपरा नष्ट करण्यासाठी भारताच्या शिक्षण व्यवस्थेत शिरकाव केला. त्यांचे देशभर जाळे पसरले असून आजही ‘कॉन्व्हेंटचे शिक्षणच उत्तम आहे’, असेे पालक गृहित धरत आहेत; पण पूर्वीच्या तुलनेत आता हिंदु पालक जागरूक होत असून अशा शाळांमधील चुकीच्या गोष्टींना विरोधही करत आहेत.

हिंदु जनजागृती समितीचे राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ते श्री. रमेश शिंदे म्हणाले की, कॉन्व्हेंट शाळांतून फक्त बायबल शिकवणेच नव्हे, तर ‘ख्रिस्ती (जिझस) केंद्रीत वातावरण’ निर्माण केले जात आहे. या शाळांमध्ये हिंदू मुलांना बायबलची सक्ती केली जात आहे. हे ‘बाल संरक्षण कायद्या’च्या विरोधात आहे. देशातील प्रत्येक शाळेतील शिक्षण हे संविधानातील मूल्यांनुसार व्हायला हवे; मात्र कॉन्व्हेंट शाळांमध्ये हे कुठेही होताना दिसत नाही. बायबल शिकवून मुलांना त्रास दिला जात आहे. त्यामुळे आम्ही याला विरोध करत आहोत. यासाठी कॉन्व्हेंट शाळांतील विद्यार्थ्यांच्या पालकांनी तक्रारी करण्यासाठी पुढे यावे, असे आवाहन आम्ही करत आहोत. सध्या अनेक कॉन्व्हेंट शाळा आणि शैक्षणिक संस्था यांमध्ये बहुसंख्य हिंदु विद्यार्थी शिकत असतांनाही ‘अल्पसंख्याक दर्जा’च्या अंर्तगत विशेष सुविधा घेऊन या शाळा का चालवल्या जात आहेत, हे सुद्धा पाहायला हवे.
