मुंबई, दि. 14 : छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज यांच्या जयंती निमित्ताने आयोजित करण्यात येणाऱ्या शिवज्योत दौडीत दोनशे जण आणि जन्मोत्सव सोहळ्याकरिता पाचशे जणांना उपस्थित राहता येईल, अशा गृह विभागाच्या प्रस्तावाला मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे यांनी आज मान्यता दिली. तथापि, आरोग्य नियमांचे पालन करून, सर्वांच्या आरोग्याची आणि स्वच्छतेची काळजी घेत शिवछत्रपतींच्या जन्मोत्सव सोहळ्याचे क्षण साजरे करावेत, असे आवाहनही मुख्यमंत्र्यांनी केले आहे.

येत्या शनिवारी (दि. १९) छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज यांची जयंती आहे. त्या अनुषंगाने गृहराज्यमंत्री शंभूराज देसाई यांनी शिवज्योत आणि जन्मोत्सव सोहळ्यातील उपस्थितीबाबत विशेष बाब म्हणून अनुमती देण्याचा प्रस्ताव मुख्यमंत्र्यांकडे सादर केला होता. त्यावर मुख्यमंत्री श्री. ठाकरे यांनी ही मान्यता दिली आहे. तसे निर्देशही गृह विभागासह संबंधित यंत्रणांना देण्यात येत आहेत. शिवजयंती उत्सवासाठी विविध शिव प्रेरणास्थळांवरून शिवज्योती वाहून आणण्यात येतात. त्यासाठी या शिवज्योजी दौडीत दोनशे जणांना सहभागी होता येईल. तसेच शिव जन्मोत्सव सोहळ्यात पाचशे जण उपस्थितीत राहू शकणार आहेत.
