उस्मानाबाद : उस्मानाबाद जिल्ह्यात शिवसेनेची पहिली शाखा स्थापन करणाऱ्या एका शिवसैनिकाने आत्महत्या केल्याची घटना घडली आहे. आर्थिक विवंचनेमुळे त्यांनी आत्महत्या केल्याचे समोर आले आहे. दत्तात्रय नारायण वऱ्हाडे असे या शिवसैनिकाचे नाव आहे. वऱ्हाडे यांनी 1984 साली उस्मानाबाद शहरात जिल्ह्यातील पहिली शिवसेनेची शाखा स्थापन केली होती. सच्चे शिवसैनिक म्हणून वऱ्हाडे यांची ओळख होती.

आत्महत्या केलेले शिवसैनिक दत्तात्रय वऱ्हाडे हे एवढे कट्टर शिवसैनिक होते की, कोणत्याही निवडणुकीच्या प्रचारात ते पुढे असायचे. घरोघरी जावून, पायाला भिंगरी लावून ते प्रचार करायचे. शिवसेनाप्रमुख दिवंगत बाळासाहेब ठाकरे यांच्यावर निस्सीम श्रद्धा असणारे  कार्यकर्ते म्हणून त्यांना परिसरात ओळखले जात होते. 1984 साली त्यांनी जिल्ह्यातील पहिली शिवसेनेची शाखा उस्मानाबाद शहरात स्थापन केली होती. अगदी मोजक्या तरुणांना सोबत घेऊन त्यांनी हे काम केले होते. ही शाखा सुरू करताना दत्तात्रय वऱ्हाडे यांच्याकडे पैसे देखील नव्हते. त्यांनी उधार पैसे घेऊन सेनेची शाखा स्थापने केली होती.

दत्तात्रय वऱ्हाडे यांची उस्मानाबद शहरात चहाची टपरी होती. त्या चहाच्या टपरीवरच ते कुटुंबांचा उदरनिर्वाह चालवत होते. पण ज्यावेळेस निवडणुका असतील त्यावेळी ते चहाची टपरी बंद करुन शिवसेनेचा प्रचार करायचे. वऱ्हाडे यांना 4 मुली आणि 2 मुले आहेत. या चहाच्या टपरीच्या पैशातूनच त्यांनी आपल्या मुलींची लग्न केली. तर आर्थिक परिस्थिती बेताची अल्यामुळे त्यांच्या मुलांनाही शिक्षण घेता आलं नाही. अर्ध्यातूनच मुलांनी शिक्षण सोडून कामधंदा करायला सुरूवात केली होती. दत्रात्रय वऱ्हाडे हे कुटुंबासाठी कधीच वेळ देत नव्हते, मात्र शिवसेनेसाठी ते कायम उपलब्ध असायचे असे त्यांच्या कुटुंबियांनी सांगितले. ते शिवसैनिक होते, यांचा त्यांना खूप अभिमान होत असे देखील कुटुंबियांनी सांगितले.
मागील 40 वर्षामध्ये शिनसेनेत अनेक आले आणि अनेक सोडून गेले. मात्र, दत्तात्रय वऱ्हाडे कायम धनुष्यबाणाशी काय एकनिष्ठ राहिले. बाळासाहेब ठाकरे आणि धनुष्यबाण हीच त्यांची खरी दौलत होती. शिवसेनेत येणारे जाणारे अनेकजण मोठे झाले. आमदार झाले, खासदार झाले पण दत्तात्रय वऱ्हाडे कायम कार्यकर्ताच राहिले.
