पुणे: पुणे कॅन्टोन्मेंट भागामध्ये असलेल्या छत्रपती शिवाजी मार्केट मध्ये गाय व बैलाचे मांस विकले जाते . याबाबत आज दिं. ३०.८.२२ रोजी समस्त पुणे जिल्ह्यातील गोरक्षक व गोप्रेमीं कडून शिवशंकर स्वामी यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली खाली पुणे काँटनमेंट विभागाचे मुख्य आयुक्त मा. श्री.सुभ्रतो पॉल साहेब (IDS) तसेच लष्कर पो स्टे चे पो नि श्री. कदम साहेब यांना निवेदन देण्यात आले .

यावेळी,” आपल्या कॅन्टोन्मेंट बोर्डाच्या अखत्यारीत बाबाजान चौकात असलेल्या छत्रपती श्री शिवाजी महाराज मार्केटमध्ये काही दुकानांमध्ये बीफ विकण्यास परवानगी दिली आहे. पण ते स्थळी होत असलेली ९०% विक्री ‘ गाय व बॆल’ यांच्या मांसाची आहे. शरमेची गोष्ट म्हणजे ‘हा प्रकार लपवण्यासाठी केवळ १०% प्रमाणात म्हशीचे मांस आणुन ते समोर ठेवले जाते. व लोकांची व पोलिसांची दिशाभूल केली जाते. या विकृत प्रकाराला वेळीच कायदेशीर कारवाई करुन रोखण्यात यावं ही मागणी समाजातील सर्व स्तरावरील लोकांनी केली आहे.
यावेळी कॅन्टोन्मेंट बोर्डाचे आयुक्त मा. श्री. सुब्रतो पॉल ( IDS ) यांनी कायदेशीर कारवाई करण्याचे आश्वासन दिले. तसेच छ्त्रपती शिवाजी मार्केट मध्ये कुठेही गाय व बैलाचे मांस विकले जाणार नाही याची हमी दिली व ज्यांच्यावर गुन्हे दाखल आहेत त्यांच्या दुकानाचे परवाने रद्द करण्याचे ही आश्वासन दिले आहे.
येत्या आठ दिवसांत जर कोणतीही कारवाई झाली नाही तर हजारोंच्या संख्येने गोप्रेमी , शिवभक्त व गोरक्षकांचा छ्त्रपती शिवाजी मार्केट वर धडक मोर्चा काढण्यात येईल याची नोंद प्रशासनाने घ्यावी असे मानद पशुकल्यान अधिकारी श्री शिवशंकर स्वामी यांनी सांगितले.
