पुणे, 31 डिसेंबर:  पुण्यातील एका वरिष्ठ पदावरील महिला पोलीस अधिकाऱ्याने आत्महत्या  केली आहे. संबंधित महिला पोलीस अधिकाऱ्याने आपल्या राहत्या घरात ओढणीनं गळफास घेत आयुष्याचा शेवट केला आहे. शुक्रवारी दुपारी दीडच्या सुमारास ही घटना उघडकीस येताच पोलीस प्रशासनाला धक्का बसला आहे.

या घटनेची माहिती मिळताच वरीष्ठ पोलीस अधिकाऱ्यांनी घटनास्थळी धाव घेत घटनास्थळाचा पंचनामा केला आहे. त्यांचा मृतदेह शवविच्छेदनासाठी ससून रुग्णालयात पाठवण्यात आला असून घटनेचा पुढील तपास केला जात आहे. शिल्पा चव्हाण असं आत्महत्या करणाऱ्या महिला पोलीस अधिकाऱ्याचं नाव असून त्या पुणे शहर पोलीस दलात वरिष्ठ पोलीस निरीक्षक पदावर कार्यरत होत्या.

 

मृत शिल्पा यांनी विश्रांतवाडी येथील शांतीनगर भागातील आपल्या राहत्या घरी ओढणीच्या सहाय्याने गळफास घेत आत्महत्या केली आहे. शुक्रवारी दुपारी ही घटना उघडकीस येताच परिसरात खळबळ उडाली आहे. त्यांनी नेमकी कोणत्या कारणातून आत्महत्या केली, याची कोणतीही माहिती अद्याप समोर आली नाही. पोलिसांनी घटनास्थळाची कसून झडती घेतली, असून आत्महत्येच्या मुख्य कारणाचा शोध घेतला जात आहे.
