कोल्हापूर : जिल्ह्यातील पेठ वडगांव येथील जनावरांच्या बाजारातून दर सोमवारी मोठ्याप्रमाणात गायी व बैल कत्तलीसाठी घेऊन जात असतात. आज एका आयशर टेम्पो नं एम एच ०९ सी यू ०८०४ मध्ये बैल भरून कर्नाटक येथे कत्तलीसाठी घेऊन जात असल्याची माहिती मानद पशुकल्यान अधिकारी शिवशंकर स्वामी यांना मिळाली. स्वामी व त्यांचे कोल्हापूर येथील विश्वासू सहकारी यांनी गांधीनगर पोलिसांच्या मदतीने सदर टेम्पो ताब्यात घेऊन टेम्पोची पाहणी केली असताना टेम्पोत एकूण ११ देशी बैल दाटीवाटीने कोंबून भरलेल्या अवस्थेत दिसली. काही बैलांना जखमा झालेल्या होत्या. पोलिसांनी टेम्पो चालक व क्लिनर यांना नाव व पत्ता विचारले असता त्यांनी अतुल अरुण पवार आणि क्लिनर विकास तुकाराम कांबळे दोघे रा.
वॉर्ड नं 5 भीम नगर पेठ नाका जि. सांगली. असे सांगितले व सदरची जनावरे ही सचिन साळुंखे रा पेठनाका याने बाजारात भरून देऊन संकेश्वर ( कर्नाटक ) येथे कत्तलीसाठी घेऊन जात असल्याचे सांगितले.पोलिसांनी
महाराष्ट्र प्राणी संरक्षण कायद्याप्रमाणे गुन्हा दाखल करून सर्व जनावरे संकल्प सिद्धी गोशाळा हेरले येथे सुखरूप सोडण्यात आले. गांधीनगर पोलिसांनी यावेळी उत्तम सहकार्य दिले.
सचिन साळुंखे हा कसायांचा एजंट म्हणून काम करतो याच्यावर यापूर्वी उंब्रज आणि पेठ वडगाव येथे जनावरांची कत्तलीसाठी वाहतूक केल्याप्रकरणी गुन्हे दाखल आहेत. हा हरामखोरा शेतकऱ्यांना फसवून चांगली धष्टपुष्ट देखणे बैल विकत घेऊन कत्तलखान्यात नेऊन पोहच करतो. सर्व शेतकरी बांधवांनी सावध राहावे अशी समस्त शेतकरी बांधवांना शिवशंकर स्वामी यांनी विनंती केली.
या कारवाईत विजय गुळवे प्रतीक भेगडे, आकाश थोरात, कृष्णा सातपुते, श्रेयस शिंदे, कुंदन सावंत, चेतन धाडवे, संदीप घेवारी, जयदीप सुर्यांवंशी, शाम घायवट, आकाश गुरव, ऋषिकेश डोइफोडे, लखन माने, मयूर सावंत, प्रतीक माळी ई. कार्यकर्त्यांनी सहभाग घेतला.
