मुंबई, दि. २४ मे – पूर्वीच्या आणि आताच्या माध्यमांमध्ये झालेला बदल लक्षात घेता माहिती व जनसंपर्क विभागाचे ‘माहिती भवन’ प्रसारमाध्यमांसाठी उपयुक्त ठरेल असा विश्वास मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे यांनी व्यक्त केला.

नवी मुंबईतील नेरुळ येथे माहिती भवन इमारत हस्तांतरणाचा सामंजस्य करार माहिती व जनसंपर्क महासंचालनालय आणि सिडको यांच्यात आज मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे यांच्या प्रमुख उपस्थितीत करण्यात आला. माहिती व जनसंपर्कचे प्रधान सचिव दीपक कपूर आणि सिडकोचे व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक डॉ. संजय मुखर्जी यांच्यात सामंजस्य कराराचे हस्तांतरण करण्यात आले. सह्याद्री अतिथीगृहात आयोजित या कार्यक्रमास माहिती व जनसंपर्क राज्यमंत्री कु. आदिती तटकरे, मुख्य सचिव मनुकुमार श्रीवास्तव, मुख्यमंत्र्यांचे प्रधान सचिव विकास खारगे आदी मान्यवर उपस्थित होते.

यावेळी मुख्यमंत्री श्री. ठाकरे म्हणाले, दैनिक सामनाचा मी देखील काही काळ संपादक होतो, त्यामुळे राजकारण आणि पत्रकार यांच्यातील संबंध लहानपणापासून पाहत मी मोठा झालो, त्यामुळे पत्रकारितेशी माझे कायम ऋणानुबंध आहेत. पूर्वीच्या आणि आताच्या माध्यमांमध्ये बराच बदल झाला असून खिळ्यांच्या ब्लॉकच्या टाईपसेटिंगपासून मोबाईलपर्यंतचा पत्रकारितेचा प्रवास थक्क करणारा आहे. आता एका क्षणात जगभरात माहिती पाठवता येते आणि हे काम करण्यासाठी पत्रकारांना एका ठिकाणी बसता यावे याकरिता माहितीभवन निश्चितच उपयुक्त ठरेल. चुकीच्या माहितीवर आधारित अनेक बातम्या प्रसारित किंवा प्रसिद्ध होत असतात, त्या बातम्यांची वस्तुस्थिती वेळोवेळी जनतेसमोर मांडण्याबरोबरच चुकीच्या बातम्यांचे खुलासे होणे आवश्यक आहे. माहिती भवनची संकल्पना महत्त्वपूर्ण असून येथे सुरु करायच्या उपक्रमांचा सविस्तर आराखडा तयार करण्याचे निर्देशही यावेळी मुख्यमंत्र्यांनी दिले.

राज्यमंत्री कु. आदिती तटकरे यांनी माहिती व जनसंपर्क महासंचालनालयाच्या कामकाजाचे कौतुक केले. नवी मुंबईतील नेरूळ येथे माहिती भवनाची अत्याधुनिक इमारत विभागाच्या कामकाजास उपयुक्त ठरणार असल्याचे सांगितले. या माहिती भवनामध्ये पत्रकार संघटनांच्या कार्यक्रमांबरोबरच महासंचालनालयाकडील असलेल्या ग्रंथांचे डिजिटायझेशन करुन डिजिटल ग्रंथालय लवकरच सुरु होईल. असा विश्वास व्यक्त करुन माहिती व जनसंपर्क महासंचालनालयाचे बळकटीकरणाची ग्वाही यावेळी राज्यमंत्री कु. तटकरे यांनी दिली.

माहिती व जनसंपर्कचे प्रधान सचिव तथा महासंचालक दीपक कपूर यांनी मान्यवरांचे स्वागत करुन प्रास्ताविक केले. ते म्हणाले, माहिती व जनसंपर्क महासंचालनालय वृत्तसंकलनाबरोबरच माहितीचे विश्लेषण देखील करीत असते. अलिकडच्या काळात नव्या तंत्रज्ञानाचा अंगीकार विभागाने केल्यामुळे कामाच्या पद्धती बदलल्या आहेत. या बदललेल्या कामाच्या पद्धतीसाठी माहिती भवनाची संकल्पना उपयुक्त ठरेल. माहिती भवनसाठी केलेल्या सहकार्याबद्दल नगरविकास मंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे, राज्यमंत्री कु. आदिती तटकरे यांचे आणि सिडकोचे श्री. कपूर यांनी आभार मानले. या माहिती भवनामध्ये माध्यम प्रतिसाद केंद्र, डिजिटल ग्रंथालय, माध्यम प्रशिक्षण केंद्र आणि पत्रकार कक्ष सुरु करण्यात येणार असल्याचेही श्री. कपूर यांनी सांगितले.

यावेळी सिडकोचे व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक डॉ. संजय मुखर्जी यांनी मनोगत व्यक्त केले. सिडकोची ही इमारत माहिती व जनसंपर्क महासंचालनालयाला देखभाल दुरुस्तीसाठी देण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला होता, आता ही इमारत प्रत्यक्ष आज हस्तांतरित करण्यात येत असल्याचे सांगून या इमारतीमध्ये सर्व सुविधा उपलब्ध करुन देण्यात आल्याचे डॉ. मुखर्जी यांनी सांगितले.

या कार्यक्रमास संचालक (वृत्त-जनसंपर्क) दयानंद कांबळे, कोकण विभागाचे माहिती उपसंचालक डॉ. गणेश मुळे, उपसंचालक (प्रकाशने) अनिल आलुरकर, सिडकोच्या जनसंपर्क अधिकारी श्रीमती प्रिया रातांबे यांचेसह माहिती व जनसंपर्कचे आणि सिडकोचे वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित होते. कार्यक्रमाचे सूत्रसंचालन वरिष्ठ सहायक संचालक श्रीमती मीनल जोगळेकर यांनी तर संचालक (प्रशासन) गोविंद अहंकारी यांनी आभार मानले.

● सिडको इमारतीच्या सुमारे ६ हजार ८८३ चौरस फुट क्षेत्रफळाच्या भव्य जागेत माहिती भवन सुरु होणार.

● तळमजला आणि पहिला मजला असे स्वरुप असलेल्या या इमारतीत कॉन्फरन्स रुम, कार्यालये, बहुद्देशीय सभागृह, अतिथी कक्ष, प्रतिक्षा कक्ष, स्वयंपाकघर, वाहनतळ आदी सुविधा.

● इमारतीच्या बांधकामासाठी सुमारे २.५८ कोटी रुपये खर्च.

● अद्ययावत स्टुडिओ, लाईव्ह स्ट्रिमिंग सुविधा, राज्यस्तरीय माध्यम प्रशिक्षण केंद्र, पत्रकार कक्ष, ग्रंथालय, डिजिटल ग्रंथालय, विविध प्रकाशनांचे दालन, प्रदर्शन दालन, दुर्मिळ छायाचित्रांचे दालन, दुर्मिळ दृकश्राव्य दालन, समाजमाध्यम कक्ष, पत्रकार परिषद कक्ष, माध्यम प्रतिसाद केंद्र आदींचा माहिती भवनात समावेश आहे.
