मुंबई, दि. १३ फेब्रुवारी – मुंबईतील टिळक भवन येथे आज कॉंग्रेसमध्ये इतर पक्षातील महत्वाच्या पदाधिकार्‍यांचे जम्बो प्रवेश झाले. यावेळी राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसच नाही तर इतर पक्षातील पदाधिकाऱ्यांनी काँग्रेसचा हात धरला आहे. आगामी मनपा निवडणुकांपूर्वी राज्यातील राजकीय वातावरण चांगलेच तापायला लागले असून फोडोफोडीचं राजकारण सुरू झालं आहे. राज्यातील आगामी महापालिका निवडणुकांच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर मराठवाड्यातील ही मोठी उलथापालथ असल्याचं मानलं जात आहे. आज काँग्रेस पक्षाने राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसच्या नगराध्यक्षांसह 20 नगरसेवकांना आपल्या गळाला लावत पक्षात मेगाभरती केली. परभणी, बीड, औरंगाबाद या भागातील इतर पक्षातील नगरसेवकांना कॉंग्रेसमध्ये आणण्यासाठी एक आश्वासक चेहरा प्रदेश कॉंग्रेसने वापरल्याचे दिसत आहे. महाराष्ट्र प्रदेश काँग्रेसचे सचिव तसेच माजी आमदार कुंडलिकराव नागरे यांचे सुपुत्र सुरेश नागरे यांनी अशोक चव्हाण आणि नाना पटोले यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली मालेगावचा वचपा परभणीमध्ये काढला असून राष्ट्रवादीचा हिशोब सेटल केल्याचे बोलले जात आहे. राष्ट्रवादीच्या ताब्यात असलेल्या सेलू नगरपरिषदेतील नगराध्यक्षांसह 20 नगरसेवकांचा काँग्रेस प्रवेश करण्यात नागरे यांना यश आले आहे.

परभणी जिल्ह्यातील जिंतूर आणि सेलू या नगरपरिषदेतील राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसच्या नगराध्यक्षांसह 20 नगरसेवकांनी काँग्रेस पक्षात प्रवेश केला आहे. तसेच नांदेड, औरंगाबादमधीलही राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसच्या विद्यमान तालुका अध्यक्ष, शहराध्यक्ष अशा महत्वपूर्ण पदाधिकाऱ्यांचा आणि विविध ठिकाणच्या भाजपच कार्यकर्त्यांचा काँग्रेसमध्ये पक्ष प्रवेश पार पडला आहे. मुंबईतील टिळक भवन येथे काँग्रेसचे प्रदेशाध्यक्ष नाना पटोले आणि राज्याचे सार्वजनिक बांधकाम मंत्री अशोक चव्हाण यांच्या उपस्थितीत हा पक्षप्रवेश सोहळा झाला. या प्रवेशामागे खरा चेहरा कॉंग्रेसचे सचिव सुरेश कुंडलिकराव नागरे यांचा असल्याचे देखील स्पष्ट झाले आहे.

प्रदेशाध्यक्ष नाना पटोले, सार्वजनिक बांधकाम मंत्री अशोक चव्हाण, आमदार सुरेश वरपूडकर यांच्या उपस्थितीत व सुरेश नागरे यांच्या नैतृत्वात हा प्रवेश सोहळा पार पडला. सेलूच नाही तर जिंतूर तालुक्यातील राष्ट्रवादी, भाजप व काही अपक्ष नगरसेवक व इतर पदाधिकाऱ्यांनी देखील कॉंग्रेसमध्ये प्रवेश केला. त्यामुळे परभणी जिल्ह्यात राष्ट्रवादीला हा मोठा धक्का असल्याचे बोलले जाते.
